I established Sue Willmott HR and Careers Consultancy in 2012. I have had a varied career, developing different skills and working with many different characters! In most of my roles, I naturally evolved staff development and supported the team with this. I have embraced many training courses and CPD which has helped me to build the service we offer to our customers. I am naturally a supportive person, which is reflected in my approach to coaching.
I enjoy the variety in what I do and what the business brings. Not only do I work with businesses, I work with students to support them at the start of their journey into employment. The different environments have very different energies and need different skills to work with which definitely keeps me on my toes! I enjoy finding out new things about our customers and learning more about what their priorities are at any given time.
As well as the customers, I have an amazing team. We all have different skills and strengths which complement each other. I am very proud to work with them and we are all continuing to learn together and support one another.
We all endeavour to keep up to date with new information. I attend conferences and workshops, webinars, read industry specific magazines and newsletters, get involved in research, talk to others and I learn a lot from my customers, colleagues and friends.
When I am not working, you can find me on the golf course, on stage performing in the local drama club and annual pantomime (where my jokes definitely get worse!), or joining in with the fun and games of my 5 great nieces, with another soon to join us!
