Changes to the National Minimum and National Living Wage for 2021

A new tax year means changes to the National Minimum and National Living Wage. Not only have the rates of pay changed, but an age bracket has changed too.

Previously, there were five categories:
Apprentice
Under 18
18 to 20
21 to 24
25 and over (National Living Wage)

The National Living Wage (25 and over category) has now become 23 and over.

The five categories now are:
Apprentice
Under 18
18 to 20
21 to 22
23 and over (National Living Wage)
