As a HR and Careers Consultancy, we regularly see the advantages of businesses working with their local schools/colleges. By doing so, you can help to shape the future workforce and find local talent at the start of their career journey – who can enhance your business.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, such as: attending careers fairs; offering work experience, traineeships or apprenticeships; getting involved with school employer activities or holding mock interviews.

Schools often hold enterprise/business days, where the students focus on creating a product or business and go through all stages of planning/starting and even running the business (theoretically). By helping out with these sessions, you are giving something back to the community as well as creating strong links and an insight into your business for the future workforce.
