CrossRoads Careers Services has been accredited to the matrix Standard; demonstrating the high-quality Careers Education Information, Advice and Guidance Services they provide to Schools and Colleges in Cornwall and Devon.
CrossRoads Careers Services is part of Sue Willmott HR and Careers Consultancy. Entering its 10th year of trading, Sue Willmott HR combines its CEIAG service with HR support. By understanding the skills and qualities local businesses are looking for, we can better connect them to the education sector and help to shape the future workforce; preparing and supporting students to follow their own pathway to their chosen career. We are a small team with a keen interest in helping students and professionals alike to develop their skills for the future.
The matrix Standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.
Roger Chapman, Head of the matrix Service for The Growth Company said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for CrossRoads Careers Services and I would like to congratulate the team on their success. We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available. The matrix Standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas. With their accreditation success, CrossRoads Careers Services is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”
Commenting on the award, Sue Willmott – Business Owner, said: “I am very proud of the teams we work with to provide a quality service to students in Cornwall and Devon. Careers Advice and Guidance is not a standalone service in a school or college it is a small part of the overall delivery in that environment; helping students to make informed decisions for themselves with the support of families and carers. Employers input is also a key factor, having the opportunity for your future workforce to meet you and see their potential and confidence grow. If you would like to work with your local school, please get in touch and we will help where we can.”
